POLICY FEATURES:

The following items are protected under the CPO Pak Policy:

  • Firearms (Including Scopes and Optics) - Protect your rifles, shotguns, handguns –both “in use” and those that are pure collectibles. You can also protect your scopes, binoculars, gun cases and other valuable firearm accessories.
  • Fine Arts & Sporting Collectibles (Including decoys, game calls & rare books) - Whether you collect original oil or watercolor paintings, bronze sculptures, limited edition prints, decoys, game calls, or rare books the CPO Pak is the easiest, most economical way to protect them.
  • Taxidermy Collections: The CPO pak will also protect your valuable taxidermy, and either restore or replace them in the event of damage or total loss.
  • Sporting Gear (Including Fly Fishing Gear, Knife Collections, Hunting Gear & Accessories, and Archery Gear) - We offer complete coverage for all your sporting gear including high-end bows, knife collections, fly rods and reels, and more.

THE FINE PRINT:

Not all losses are covered by the CPO Pak – or most other insurance polices. Here’s a specific list of exclusions:

1. Named Storm Wind Damage:

It is understood and agreed that this policy does not cover wind loss or damage caused directly or indirectly resulting from a storm or hurricane that has been named or numbered by the National Weather Service, including wind-driven rain. Such loss or damage is excluded regardless of any other cause or event that contributes concurrently or in any sequence to the loss.

Named Wind Storm Exclusion (All locations within 10 miles of coastline or located within any of the counties listed below)

Named Wind Storm Deductible (10% of loss for all locations other than those excluded)

2. Named Storm Water Damage:

It is understood and agreed that this policy does not cover water loss or damage caused directly or indirectly resulting from a storm or hurricane that has been named or numbered by the National Weather Service. Such loss or damage is excluded regardless of any other cause or event that contributes concurrently or in any sequence to the loss.

Named Water Damage Exclusion (All locations within 10 miles of coastline or located within any of the counties listed below)

Named Water Damage Deductible (10% of loss for all locations other than those excluded)

1. Water Damage, means:

a. Mudslide or mudflow;

b. Water that backs up from a sewer or drain; or

c. Water under the ground surface pressing on, or flowing or seeping through:

(1) Foundations, walls floors or paved surfaces;

(2) Basements, whether paved or not; or

(3) Doors, windows or other openings; and

2. Flood, surface water including rain water, waves, tides, tidal waves, overflow of any body of water, water spray, all whether

driven by wind or not, accumulation or runoff or surface waters from any source, shifting of earth caused by accumulation of water

on or under the ground and erosion losses caused by abnormal water levels.

3. NAMED STORM & WIND AND WATER DAMAGE IS EXCLUDED IN THE FOLLOWING COASTAL COUNTIES or CITIES:

Alabama: Baldwin, Mobile;

Connecticut: Locations within 10 miles from coast/shore line;

Delaware: Sussex (from Georgetown east and Georgetown north to Milford then east from Milford), Milford to Slaughter Beach is the Northern Edge, South from Milford to Gambaro at the Maryland County line, anything east of that line is equivalent to Tier 1;

Florida: No coverage available;

Louisiana: Cameron, St Bernard, Terrebonne, Jefferson, St Charles, Vermilion, Lafourche, St. Mary, Plaquemines, St. Tammany;

Maine: Any location East of US Route One;

Maryland: Worcester;

Massachusetts: Barnstable, Dukes, Nantucket;

Mississippi: Hancock, Harrison, Jackson;

New Hampshire: East of I-95;

New Jersey: Atlantic, Cape May, Monmouth, Ocean, From coast to Aberdeen, Aberdeen south to Thompson Beach, Thompson Beach on Delaware Bay to Cliff wood Beach-which is located on the North Jersey coast inside the Intra-coastal waterway; Raritan Bay. This is roughly 10 miles inland.;

New York: Long Island, any of the barrier islands off the coast, Nassau, Suffolk;

North Carolina: Brunswick, Carteret, Currituck, Dare, Hyde, New Hanover, Onslow, Pamlico;

Rhode Island: Newport, Washington;

South Carolina: Beaufort, Berkeley, Charleston, Georgetown, Horry;

Texas: Aransas, Brazoria, Calhoun, Cameron, Chambers, Galveston, Kennedy, Kleberg, Matagorda, Nueces, Refugio, San Patricio, Willacy;

Virginia: Accomack, Northampton, Independent Cities of: Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Poquoson, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Virginia Beach.

We do not cover “loss” caused directly or indirectly by any of the following. Such “loss” is excluded regardless of any other cause or event contributing concurrently or in any sequence to the “loss”.

  • War, including undeclared war, civil war, insurrection, rebellion, revolution warlike act by a military force or military personnel, destruction or seizure or use for a military purpose, and including any consequence of any of these. Discharge of a nuclear weapon shall be deemed a warlike act even if accidental.
  • Governmental Action – Seizure or destruction of property by order of governmental authority. However, we will pay for acts of destruction ordered by governmental authority and taken at the time of a fire to prevent its spread if the fire would be covered under this policy.
  • Nuclear Hazard meaning any nuclear reaction, radiation or radioactive contamination, all whether controlled or uncontrolled or however caused, or any consequence of any of these.
  • “Loss” caused by the nuclear hazard shall not be considered “loss” caused by fire, explosion, or smoke, whether these perils are specifically named in or otherwise included within the Perils Insured Against.
  • This policy does not apply to “loss” caused directly or indirectly by nuclear hazard, except that direct “loss” by fire resulting from the nuclear hazard is covered.

5.

We will not pay for “loss” caused by or resulting from:

  • Wear and tear, any quality in the product which causes it to damage or destroy itself, gradual deterioration, mold, insects, vermin, or rodents;
  • Damage sustained due to or resulting from any process or work upon the property;
  • Mechanical breakdown, malfunction, or defect;
  • Fouling, explosion, bursting or bulging;
  • Oxidation;
  • Marring or scratching;
  • Damage sustained due to rain, snow, sleet or dust;
  • Any earth movement, including earthquake, sinkhole collapse, mine subsistence, landslide, or earth sinking, rising or shifting, expansion or contraction, or any other shifting of earth;
